| What is your deposit policy? |
| 50% of your rental rate is due within 10 days to confirm your reservation. The balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival. |
| What is your cancellation policy? |
| All
cancellations and any request for changes to your reservation (such as
date changes) must be made IN
WRITING (by fax, e-mail or letter).
If you cancel more than 60 days prior to your arrival date, 100
per cent of your payment will be refunded to you. |
| What is the security deposit? |
| Your security deposit is in addition to the rental rate. This deposit will be held for two (2) weeks following departure, and is subject to adjustment for missing items or damage to the property, extraordinary cleaning or laundry (more than three loads) performed by our cleaners. |
| What type of stores & restaurants are within walking distance to Tranquility Nassau? |
| We have a
supermarket that is 15 minutes away (walk) and there are two excellent restaurants next
door: 1) "The Poop Deck" serving lunch and dinner with fresh Bahamian seafood & steaks, located ocean side for a great ocean view. 2) "The Beach" restaurant serving breakfast, lunch & dinner with fresh Bahamian cuisine, located right on the beach. Our grocery store is a large modem supermarket with everything you will require like fresh fruits, vegetables , meats and dairy products. We have a liquor/beer store and Pizza Hut restaurant. Other restaurants and fast food are a short distance away. |
| Will I need to rent a car? |
| That depends on what you plan to do on your holiday. If you plan to "cocoon" then everything you need is within walking distance. Safe, privately-owned Jitneys will take you anywhere on the island for $1. They come by the driveway every five minutes. Just take the #10 Jitney to downtown Nassau for duty free shopping on Bay Street. When you are ready to return, board another #10 bus for your return trip to your front door. |
| How far away is the downtown area? |
| The downtown area is 20 minutes by car and there are buses that run right pass Tranquility Nassau. |
| Is the location of Tranquility Nassau in a safe area? |
| Tranquility Nassau is located in the quiet neighborhood of Delaporte Point and is very safe. |
| How far is the airport from Tranquility Nassau? |
| The airport is about 10 minutes away and a $15.00 taxi fare. |
| What is the check in & checkout time at Tranquility Nassau? |
| Check In is 3:00 PM and Check Out is 10:00 AM. |
| Are there any extra charges when I rent Tranquility Nassau? |
| Your rent covers all charges. |
| Is it possible to book any fly fishing trips from Nassau? |
| There is deep sea fishing and bone fishing that you can book in Nassau. |
| Is Cable Beach a walk or a ride from your property? |
| Cable beach is a twenty minute walk and a 5 minute car ride. |
| How far away is the World Famous Atlantis Resort? |
| The
Atlantis resort is on Paradise Island which is accessible via a
bridge from Nassau and is a 20 minute car ride from Tranquility Nassau. Please click here to view a map of Nassau. |
| I checked your online availability and you are booked, do you have any other Townhouses for rent? |
| Tranquility Nassau is a single townhouse for rent in the community of Delaporte Point, Nassau, Bahamas, we do not have any additional units. |
| Your maximum persons is 6, can I pay an extra fee to allow more persons? |
| Sorry but we cannot allow more that 6 guests. |
| Our group wants to rent more than one townhouse, is that possible? |
| Unfortunately Tranquility Nassau is the only unit available for weekly rental, therefore we are unable to help groups that require more than one townhouse. |
| What is the snorkeling like around the development? |
| The snorkeling around Tranquility Nassau is good and with the shore or dock access its perfect for beginners. Please note we do not provide snorkel equipment. |
| Are there boats available to rent? |
| You can rent a boat at Coral Reef Boat Rentals (242) 362-2058 and moor it in our lagoon during your stay. |
